Protocol For
Hypertrophic & Burn Scars

Steps of Operation:

  1. Apply numb cream onto the area of concern and sterilize the spot with alcohol swabs.
  2. Set up the device. Install a 1-liner cartridge into the micro-needling pen, follow by adjusting the required needle depth according to the lines on the pen.
  3. Infuse 1.5ml Hydraderm 3.5% with DNA serum hyaluronic acid into the cartridge.
  4. Adjust the power on the screen to 120 - 150hits/second.
  5. Apply the micro-needling pen in circular motion to work on the scar tissues for the duration of 15-20 minutes depending on the size of the area. When mild erythema appears, it shows that the procedure has initiated wound healing cascade and stimulated collagen synthesis.
  6. Refill the cartridge with Hydraderm 3.5% or DNA Serum hyaluronic acid whenever it is necessary.
  7. Press on the bleeding area and clean the treated area with sterilized cotton wool.
  8. Apply e-Co 2 gel mask on the treated area to reduce the redness and swelling while further promoting collagen synthesis to speed up the recovery.
  9. Patients are allowed to resume their daily activities after the treatment.
  10. Repeat the same protocol after 1 week.

Post Treatment Home Care:
  • Patients are advised to apply Liposomes Antistria serum as a soothing daily care for post treatment regime.
